OUR COMPETITIONS
Saints Netball Club is affiliated with the Townsville City Netball Association and participates in all of it's competitions which are summarised below. Our teams cater to women and girls aged 7yrs to adult and boys aged 7-12yrs. Mixed competitions for older boys and men may be offered from time to time. Contact us for more info.
Juniors Netball
The Juniors competition is played on Wednesday nights at the TCNA outdoor courts in Annandale from March to September.
U18s - girls aged 16-18yrs
U15s - girls aged 13-15yrs
U12 - girls and boys aged 11-12yrs
Multiple divisions cater to all playing abilities with League being the highest.
Trials for Saints Junior Teams are held in February where players are placed according to both skill level and friendship groups.
Training is on Monday or Tuesday.
Under 10s Netball - Set/Go
Our Under 10s play across two tiers of netball at the TCNA outdoor courts. They train & play on Tuesday evenings from March to September.
SET - girls & boys turning 7-9yrs
This division is for beginners who are learning the game. Rules are modified, posts are lower and fixtures are non-competitive.
GO - girls & boys turning 9-10yrs
This division is for those who have played before. Full rules apply and fixtures are non-competitive.
Come & Try days for Saints U10 Teams are held in February where players are placed in teams based on skill level and friendship groups.
Seniors Netball
The Seniors competition is played on Tuesday nights at the TCNA outdoor courts in Annandale from March to September.
Participation is open to women and girls turning 15yrs+
Trials for Saints Senior Teams are held in February where players are placed into teams according to skill level and social connections.
Divisions 1 and 2 are more competitive and may train in addition to playing, while Divisions 3-5 are more social and generally do not train.
Premier League Netball
Highest level of competitive netball in Townsville, played indoors at Townsville Stadium in Annandale.
Participation is open to women and girls turning 16yrs+.
Trials for Saints Premier League throughout February each year.
Fixtures are played on Monday nights from March to September.
Training is on Thursday nights.
Saints Netball Club has a very proud history as a founding member of the Townsville City Netball Premier League competition and remains the Club with the highest number of finals appearances and premiership titles.
